1st instance was flat front tyre (again). Seems the nut controlling the handle bars neglected to check tyre pressure (my bad!) and with no rim-lock, tore nozzle. Happened outside my front door, so that was lucky (for once).
Anyhow, today I attended a job interview. That went fine and I departed. 1 min after departure, damn throttle cable broke! I was just around the corner from a mate (luckily), so I pushed it around there. Cable broke up by the throttle twister. She has done 48'000 km or so. Pretty easy fix (new cable). F'n glad I made it to the interview though! Mate dropped me 8km home with bike on trailer. Damn glad I didn't have to push her home.
Anyone else had some bad luck lately? I only got a front flat about 3 months ago and I was out in the what-whats (miles from home). Mate rescued me in his van. Inner tube was about 20 years old in this case!
